Not sure if anyone even follows us anymore! LOL! I haven't updated in an eternity! I'm living in Claremore with the bebes and we have the cutest house ever with a nice yard and I'm nursing!! Just starting a new job that pays more and gives me more time with the boys. Both boys are in school now! Kaiden is 6 and in 1st grade. His teacher is Mrs. Self and she was my first grade teacher!! Kalan is 4 in Pre K and his teacher is Mrs. Fleming. The boys are a hoot! Kaiden is learning to read so well! And Kalan is obsessed with manors and what he learns in school its hilarious! I'm on a hiatus from men for a bit. After me and the Ex hubby split he started dating one of my friends and I was single for a while and then dated this guy but that didn't work out. I'm pretty content with being alone. Still got guys that are comin after me, but you know what they want! LOL! UGHH! Will men ever change and grow up? And I'm not into the whole lesbian deal so my option left is single, working, and my bebes! I love them so! My family is here so thats great! My sister and me are closer than I ever thought possible! My mom and me talk me and my dad not so much, but that's another story! I'm on Facebook! Find me and you can see our pics!

So, I haven't Posted in forever, because this semester has been a beast! We've been busy busy! I had my job as a Nurse Tech over the summer in the E.R. at the local Hospital here, PRMC. It was/is AWESOME! I love it! I am standby, so I only have to work 12 hours a month and if the budget allows, when I graduate I'll work there as a RN! I'm workin more over this winter break to get some extra $ as the waitin biz is low on dough right now! We were really lookin into buying a house, but they don't look at my income I would be making, so we were only approved for 120,000 which here is a 2 bedroom run down shack! So, we are waiting until the summer to buy. We were wanting these townhouses in Berlin, but those are going to be way too much money for way too little room. They were going to have basements, finished, but then they did soil testing and it was a no go. We do have a house in mind with 3 acres....and if it's in God's will....it'll still be there! LOL! This semester of school was ridiculous! Psych was the hardest class ever and I almost got a C, but I pulled out a B, thanks to many prayers and Gods Love! and got an A in my clinicals. My GPA however keeps suffering because my clinicals are worth less than the lectures BOOOO! And now I'm having Grad school issues! The local school here keeps extending graduation dates because enough people are not in the program, but they are only allowing 2 transfer classes, so if they dont offer the class, then the grad students have no choice but to extend and just wait to take it when they offer it! I personally think it's ridiculous. But the closest school is in Baltimore or Deleware. I could go online, but it's 3 times as much money! I wish I was rich! BLAHHHH! SCHOOOOOLLLL BOOOOOOO!!!

But they are so much alike! THEY BOTH ARE OBSESSED WITH THE RAVENS! LOL! They have a lot of the same body language, that they do subconciously! They also look like twins often, but especially if you cover up Johns eyes and look at the lower half of his face, it's Dennis, or should I say their dad! LOL! We're excited! John is an awesome addition to the fam and he's a great UNCLE too!!

We had lots of fun this trip to Oklahoma! Turned out to be cheaper to have our babysitter watch the boys for 4 days than for us to buy 2 more plane tickets! LOL! So we went to Oklahoma for Stevie's weddin alone! It was awkward!! We've never been anywhere without them like this before! So we watched a movie like everynight! LOL! But we had a blast! Got to see the whole family and even got to do some horse riding! It was the first time Dennis had been able to visit in like 2 years or somethin, so it was extra special! And STEVIE finally got married! His wifey is Melissa, and they already had the same last name! LOL! But they weren't related, so no worries! :) They had their 1st kiss at the alter (AWWWW) And they just moved into their 1st home together! So exciting! We stayed with my Pa and got to spend lots of time with everyone, but not as much as I'd liked to with Brookun. 4 days just wasn't enough! I probably wont be able to visit again until sometime after I graduate, but I'm hopin everyone can make it out to my graduation in May! WOWOWO! I'm done in MAY!!!

I apologize ya'll! I'm such a loser! I need to get back into the habit of updatin this biz! And takin pictures! But we're sooo busy! I've got 1 year of nursing school left!!! Next May I'll be a RN!! WOOHOO! So we've just been hangin with the fam as much as we can! MeeMaw bought the boys a swingset last year, so we got it up before the summer this year. So I push Kalan in his little car and Kaiden rides his bike, and we go play on the swingset at MeeMaws! We got to the beach a couple of times this year, 1 swimming, the other to watch the air show. It didn't really happen though, the fog prevented the full out show, but ohs a wells! I've started working at the ER here. I'm super excited, it's really awesome! I get to do a lot of skills!! The plan is for me to be able to switch from the tech position to a nursing position once I graduate!! I love the ER! Except the morgue business....ya, I can handle dead bodies all day long, but u send me to the morgue and I get creeped out majorly! All them zombie movies!! Now it's just a matter of gettin this sleeping/day care biz together. Always Always have daycare issues!! But we're a making it!! And we're goin to Oklahoma next week for a visit!! My cuzin Stevie's gettin hitched!!! Fun Times Fun Times!

Kaiden graduated from Preschool on Thursday, the 7th of May! He apparently wants to be a bear when he grows up??!! LOL! He told me he wanted to be a monster truck driver! He and his buddy diego got the award "Two Peas in a Pod" Because wherever there was one, there was another! They had a field trip to petsmart and he told me they wouldn't let them sit next to eachother!! LOL! But I don't blame them, cuz they just feed off of eachother and go nuts! It was so cute though! They sang songs, Kaiden, rushed to the stage to get his award, and then it was over! :( My little big guy is growin up!!!!

Wednesday, me and Denny got married in grand 'Ole Lawton, OK!! We had just had our 1st little guy Kaiden and my mom and Dad came down to witness the event! We got married in the court house and the moment we stepped out of the doors, the church bells next door began ringing! To me it was God's sign of approval and celebration for us! Then we went to the Holy City and got a brick on their sidewalk engraved with our names and wedding date! Now we're here in Grand 'Ole Willards, MD and still going strong! We have 2 amazing little men Kaiden and Kalan, and Dennis has got his foot in the door at the post office and I have 1 year left till I'm officially a nurse! We are amazingly blessed everyday by the good Lord above! We have our hard times, but it's God who gets us through everyday! We have amazing friends and family and we love you all!!

We celebrated by going out Friday after I got out of school. We went to Ocean City and watch the 3rd Fast and Furious, which was really good! And then we ate suishi for our first "official" time! It was really good! Then we went and played miniature golf and technically Dennis won, but we bet it all on the last hole and I won!!! WOOT WOOT! LOL! And then we went to the boardwalk and walked to the end of the pier, admired the ocean view! And then we walked the boardwalk, got some goodies, and just spent time together! It was great! It's really nice to take time for just the two of us occasionally! I wish I would have taken pics, but eh! Oh Well!

Today my little man turned 2! And no, it's still not an April Fools Joke!!! I can't believe this will be my last 2nd birthday! And how much he's grown. It just doesn't seem like he's 2 already!! But we went to Coins with Mee-Maw and Aunty Crystal for Dinner, opened presents, ate some cake, and came home to watch his new movie spiderman 2! I still can't believe it! I'm gettin old ya'll!

HORRRRRRRIBLE PICS OF MOMMY! And Kaiden wouldn't smile!

So today my little monster turned 4!! I can't believe it's been that long, just doesn't seem real. I was just reading his baby book and laughing because I said our plans for the future were to have a baby sister for him! LOL! NEGATIVE ON THAT ONE! We changed our minds shortly after becoming parents! LOL! And funny cuz I was reading about how effaced I was, dilated, and position of Kaiden ( -3) and now I know what all the biz means! But I really can't believe it. I was still in friggin labor right now! He didn't come till 1145pm! So, still got almost 2 hours to go!

Today Kaiden took cupcakes to school and turned everyone blue from the icing! LOL! They made him a special hat and a pin that said It's my Birthday, then his name! Then Kalan and I met daddy and Kaiden at Miss Emily's and sang him happy b-day, he blew out the candle and then opened his 1 present for today. It was spongebob connect 4! And then Sunday we are meeting family at CoCo's! He's excited! Still can't believe 4 YEARS!!! INSANE!!

WE HAD A SNOW DAY ON MONDAY!! YIPPEE! It was GREAT! Cuz Mommy didn't have school and daddy was off of work! So we got to hang out all day together! Daddy was a bum and just opted to take the pics while we played in the snow! Kalan's snow suit was Kaiden's when he was 2!!! SO CUTE!! Reminds me of Christmas story! It only lasted one day for mommy, but Kaiden had a snow day from Preschool on Tuesday and a delay today, which meant no school! AND GUESS WHAT TOMORROW IS??? MY LITTLE MONSTER IS TURNING 4!!!!!!! He's gettin too big! To think, I was in Labor right now...starting to feel the burn!

Dennis has taught Kaiden what a wedgey is!! But, not exactly in the most discrete approach. We were at Crystal's house picking up our old computer and I was wearing my comfy gym pants. Dennis and the boys were in the car as I was talking to her on the porch. All of the sudden Kaiden rolled down the window and yelled: "Mommy, is your butt hungry?" I bout pee'd my pants laughing!!!

Valentines Day!

Dennis was such a Romantic yesterday!! He had arranged for a limo to pick us up at home and his mom watched the boys for us. We went to dinner at Light House Sound, which is right on the bay and he had the florist come in and set the table up for use and his mom dropped off my gift! We were right next to the fireplace and were LITERALLY the only table there for the entire night! There was a beautiful bouquet of baby roses and my fav flower!!! Star gazer lilies!! SO BEAUTIFUL! And rose pedals all over the table! And he got me this amazing ring! It's a pearl with diamond chips in a swirl on the sides. When we got my pearl necklace and earrings last mothers day, this was the ring I wanted, but it was too much at the time. He didn't even remember that's the one I wanted!! He said that he saw it amongst the others and knew it was me! We had an amazing evening and he was so sweet! The food was delicious and fancy and we got to spend 3 hours alone at dinner together, just enjoying eachothers company! That NEVER HAPPENS! I just wish I had brought my fancy camera with cuz the view was gorgeous and the sunset was amazing!

Nursing

So, as we go along our schoolin, we get these outrotations and different experiences. We go to different areas of specialty. Today, I went to Hospice care. Hospice is essentially the area of care for those who have a terminal illness, with no cure, and who are at the end of their lives. The hospice area I was in, is where there are worsening of conditions that come with end of life that can no longer be controlled at home. These are generally agitation, breathing issues, and especially pain. Today I came to the realization that I am not cut out for Hospice care, palliative care, or those areas that handle making the end easier. My heart is far too big to handle that emotional drain everyday. I started crying with the breaking of news to a family member that the end was there. I suppose I personalize it. I kept thinking about being with my grandma LaCrosse when she was at the end of her life. Seeing the periods of halting breathing altogether at the very end. The unknowing of when it was actually going to get there, but knowing it was just around the corner. Then I missed my grandfather's end. One of the people who were closest to me in the world. Why? $$$$ People say that Money does not make happiness, but without it you sure can be miserable! I just saw that patient and family together, knowing the end was coming and soon, feeling horrible and wondering what my grandfather went through. I just couldn't do it. I know that there is an end of life. I know that it has to happen and it will to the young, old, and young adults, but to deal with it every single day, just waiting for it to come, would be too much for me. I am pretty sure I'm going to do ER and I know eventually a Family Nurse Practitioner. But being able to cancel out what I don't want to do is a good thing. On my way to finishing!

So, I'm back to school on Monday! Not lookin forward to it. I want it all over with soon!! I just have NO LIFE when I'm in school and get no time to even breathe. This semester is ton's worse with 2 clinicals and 2 patients per day. The patient thing isn't bad, it's just the careplans! But tonight we are going to the rodeo with our friend Kat and her son JJ, so that will be our last family adventure for a bit! Wish us luck!

WELL WELL WELL! It's been a bit since I've posted, yet again, so this will be a lot to take in! LOL! I started my break on the 19th of December and it's been constant going ever since! So many things to do that you can't when your in SLAVERY!! HEHE! So Christmas was great! The boys got everything they wanted and more and had a blast. Dennis had saved up all summer and got me this amazing camera that I've been dying for!! And he bought an IPOD from me to him LOL! My MIL even got me some Uggs!!! WOW! We got to go to Aunt Crystals and hang out for the whole day! And a few days before we got to have a sleep over there. The boys had so much fun! Kalan even had his first PeePee in the pody! He still doesn't quite know the urge feeling yet, but he LOVES to go and sit on his pody, so once he knows when he needs to go, he's gonna be easy!! Then the boys and I were lucky enough to be able fly back home to Claremore, Oklahoma!! We surprised my family and had a relatively good trip. My relationship with my mother however was not improved..perhaps worsened, but that was kind of expected. We did have so much fun with my dad and the farm! Gosh I miss it so much. Kaiden and Kalan LOVED the tractor and the cows. They helped feed just about everyday. Kaiden drove the tractor with PaPa and Kalan drove the truck with Trish! We got to see pretty much everyone and Aunty Donder and Uncle Ronnie even took the boys to the store and let them pick out their own gifts! They loved that!! I think the highlight was when we went to my dad's store to see him and Kaiden was so excited that PaPa told everyone he was his grandson and that he drives the tractor! LOL! I really did have so much fun! I miss being home a lot, so it was great to be able to visit and get a fix before I started school again! Especially since my friend Amanda was awesome and got her man's limo for us for the night!! That was great! We'll be visiting again in June or July (I forget) when my cousin Steven is getting married. It won't be nearly as long, prolly only a couple of days, but I'm excited! Here's some pics of the events! DOG PILE DADDY!!!!

When Aunty Laura, Uncle Terri, and Jennifer came down for our Baptism, Laura gave the boys a blanket. These blankets are AMAZING! She made them herself and the boys loved them so much, they had to use them in the car on the way home! Kaiden wouldn't use any blankets that night, except for his soccer ball blankey! And the front of his has the most intricate sewing!!! AMAZING!!! Thank you so much Aunty Laura!

Baptism Today

So, Dennis and I were Baptized today!! It was such an emotionally great experience!! We were so lucky to have his mom, her Boyfriend, sister and her fiance Derek, Aunt Laura, Uncle Terry, and his cousin Jennifer to witness the event! We went to eat afterwards and Aunt Laura and Uncle Terry gave us this amazing Baptismal statue!! I will take pics and post soon. The pastor read our testimonies
Dennis:
Before Christ
My mom raised my sister and I with the good Christian beliefs, and because of her, I always considered myself a Christian. I believed in God and Jesus as my savior, but never actually asked Jesus into my heart until recently. Before Christ entered my life, I found that I was angry a lot of the time, while at others I just felt lost. My wife and I began attending a few different churches in Oklahoma while we were in the Army, but I never really pursued Christ.
Meeting Christ
Recently my wife discovered ORBC and we began attending regularly every Sunday. I started to look forward to Sunday. Then the question finally came up that I needed to hear, “Have you asked Christ into your heart?” It hit me like a ton of bricks that I had never really asked that question and now knew what I was missing. The Lord then took a hold of me and I knew that I was saved.
With Christ
Since that day I have found peace in myself that I never knew possible. My faith makes my marriage so much stronger and I find myself praying constantly for my family, friends, and all those I encounter. I know now, that I cannot really live life without Christ. I find great joy in talking about my faith with others and I can only hope to open others eyes and hearts as well. This is something I don’t want anyone to miss!

Before Christ
I was raised in a Christian home from birth until I was 6 or so and was told I was saved and baptized at the age of 5. Then my family stopped attending church due to a conflict in the church they had attended. I was always the outcast in school and never had very many friends. I always felt so alone and never understood exactly why. Then when I was 14 years old, a girl had transferred to my school and asked me to come to church with her one day.
Meeting Christ
Soon I began going every time the church doors were open and finally felt I had found somewhere I was welcome and comfortable. When I was 15 I attended a youth event called Acquire the Fire, excited to see my first concert (The Newsboys). That first day my heart was completely broken and I found myself on my knee’s asking Jesus into my heart and thanking him for his sacrifice on the cross. There was an overwhelming sense of completion that engulfed me and I had found the missing piece of my life.
With Christ
I finally convinced my family to attend with me and things were great until the church family I grew to love severed ties with me a short year after I was saved (I don’t know how to say this here, they basically banned me from church because I showed my belly button, but they never told me that was why, they just told me I couldn’t go to youth anymore. No one ever told me that it was a problem or anything I had no clue that it was improper!). My parents then lost all faith in churches and I was almost all but banned from that church. I attempted to find another church home, but never felt quite right anywhere else and was so torn. When I was in the Army I met my husband and we tried to find a church that fit, but it wasn’t until I came to Maryland and discovered ORBC. I prayed long and hard and God revealed to me that the church is made of people and that we are not perfect, that we are to attend church for God. While attending the 101 class I came to the realization that I had never been baptized on my own accord.

We attended the 101 class for our church last month as a step towards membership and Dennis has been a newfound Christian and I just was never Baptized with the knowledge of what I was actually doing, or remembering it! So we are now officially members of Oak Ridge Baptist Church of Salisbury, MD!! Makes it more real that this is my home now!! My first time that I could ever say that I was actually a member of a church!! WOO! LOL!

NOW, we still need prayers to continue on strong in our faith and I NEED MEGA PRAYERS CUZ FINALS ARE THIS WEEK!!! HELP ME LORD!!!! Love you all!

Turkey Day Fun!

So, we went to Dennis' Mama's house for Turkey day again this year. It was great! The turkey was amazing and everything else was great too! Poor Kalan, however, was not feeling too hot!! Poor boog! It started Wednesday night out of nowhere he performed an exorcist remake in the back seat of my car. OH HOW GLORIOUS! We were going to the outlets and I had to run and get him some pants and we rushed in and out and he was fine the rest of the night. Next morning however, we had a few more re-enactments of the previous evening. He couldn't eat at all. It wasn't too bad, but he was just really whiney on top of it. We gave him medicine and he slept for a good while, but it kind of took out of us spending with the fam, which sucked, but my boy needed some rest. He was ok till it was time to eat again. He seriously ate like a piece of bread and I tried to get fluids in him, but he's seriously noncompliant to his theraputic regimen(That's some nursing jargon fer ya!! LOL!) So, we had to go home earlier than we would have liked as well, but got some good fun in too. AND, we put up the tree last night after puttin the boys to bed. Now we gotta remember what the hey we did with them ornanments!! LOL! I am pretty sure we put them back in storage...blah! That should be fun to go find!! These are the pics. I am finally posting some pics of myself, well me in them besides my noggin! BWAHAH! I still got some baby weight to lose, but my family has been reaming me to get some up....so there ya go!!

Frankenstein and Superman, in clean clothing, went a trick a treatin all around Willards! It was fun for them both and Kalan was saying tick o teat!! It was precious. They only went to 2 neighborhoods and got far too much candy! We then went and saw Mee-Maw and Systle in OC and back home again in time for passing out! LOL! We were just SO HAPPY that daddy actually made it back in time, cuz he was in Elkton for a post office academy thing. FINALLY Daddy was home for Halloween with our munchkins!

So Superman and Frankenstein embarked on their journey to the Fall Festival at our church, Oak Ridge Baptist Church. It was fun for them. This place actually had lots of things, including real carnival rides! The preferred the bounce houses, even Kalan got to hang out in the kiddo one! We surely got the costumes dirty before Halloween! LOL!

We finally got our pumpkins! We went to Aunty Crystal's (Systle) house and carved pumpkins, well I carved the boys poked theirs. Dennis had to go to Baltimore for the post office business so he couldn't come :( But we made the best of it! We had fun with the boys and then watched movies after we put them to bed

And here's a horrible pic of it all. Yes, it is true, it was dark! LOL! But there are skull stakes that we can't plug in and cobwebs. We actually started a trend and now every apartment but one on our row has spider webs on their bushes! We had tons of fun putting them up and doing the pumpkins!

WOWZA! It's been forever since I've posted on here. SO SORRY BOUT THAT! School is absolutley insane. I should actually be studying right now, but I really need to update!
Since our last post, the boat ride, I just started school. WELL NOW! I'm into it full steam and it's insane! Clinical is really fun, so far. We were at the nursing home the first 2 and now at the hospital. It is hard, because we are literally thrown in there and go at it. The hardest part is charting in the unknown computer system and not knowing where anything is. Also, I'm so concerned with technique and doing everything right, I don't really have time to critically think through situations yet. Only time brings that on. I go to the Operating Room for a whole day the week of Thanksgiving. That will be awesome! And I already saw a colonoscopy, which was really nifty! We have a test every week until the end of semester and something due every monday!!! It's a bit nuts! And on November 1st our medication quizes start, so that will be just insane!!
The boys are doing really good. Kaiden is still in speech therapy for his S and Z sounds. He knows how to say it, but it's hard to change how you have talked for 3 years in 2 months when your only 3! They still love going to Dawn's house and love the attention they get for just being the 2 of them there. Now I don't have to worry bout other crazy kids beating them up, just those two beating up on eachother! Kaiden has already given brother a nice shiner and they go at it all day long! I can't imagine what it's going to be like when they get older!!! Kaiden will be starting pre-school soon. I go to his open house on Wed, 22nd, at 10am and then I'll know more about it.
DENNIS IS HIRED ON AT THE POST OFFICE!!!!! So exciting! He had a bunch of hoops to jump through but so far it's been ok. He has a test on Monday, however, that if he doesn't pass he's done, but he had an entire class focused on how to pass this test, in Baltimore Friday. Sucky thing is he is basically at the will of the post office. He has to work for an entire year before he can become career, which means considered part time, even if you work 100 hours a week, and NO BENEFITS! Thank the Lord we got the medicaid stuff! He has to go to the academy on the 29th, 30th, & 31st in Elkton. He's going to stay with Aunt Mala or Dawn, not sure what they decided yet. The boys and I are driving down there and going trick or treating there so he won't miss Halloween!

So things are a whirlwind here!! I have no time to breathe! I haven't even gone to the gym in 2 months, because I feel so guilty that I'm not studying or spending time with the boys. It's a nutty, brain twisting, agonizing feat to manage my school work, the boys, and any personal time I can get! BLAH! But I have this Tuesday off from Clinicals because I volunteered to work the week of Thanksgiving. So we are going to Aunty Crystal's for pumpkin carving and a sleep over!! OH YA, AUNTY CRYSTAL IS ENGAGED!!! YIPPEEEEEEE!!! The guys name is Derek and he is the best guy around, of course except for Dennis!! CONGRATULATIONS AUNTY SYSTLE!!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Miss you guys all terribly! I am planning on coming home for 10 days in January before school!! I'm excited! I am missing my family like crazy right now!

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Thought since it's been FOREVER since I posted, I'll post the most recent now and an update later!
We went to the pumpkin patch off of Mt. Hermon Rd. and got some pumpkins yesterday! We wanted to do the corn maze, but the boys weren't too interested and were ready to leave when we were finished! But they had fun while it lasted, mainly Kalan runnin around like a crazy nut! That boy is like the road runner, fast fast, gone in a blink! I got some good pics!! We need to get pics done really badly! We're all doin good right now! I will post an update soon and really get back into this bloggin business!

Boat Ride/School Time!!

These are Kaiden and Kalan's footprints and I wrote their names in the sand. One day when I get a good camera I'm going to do this! Wouldn't that be such a cute pic?

As if my camera didn't suck enough!! We went to take this Assateague boat tour and I forgot my camera so we were left with the cell phone photo's! ACK! But we passed by that pirate ship!! I want to take the boys on it when Kalan is a little older! They will have so much fun!!! But we went on this boat ride and it took us throughout the bay showing stuff and the insane houses lining the beach!! Then we went to a part of assateague island and got off to go "clam diving" diggin or something or other. Basically we had nets and got seaweed in them! LOL! It was so much fun and Kaiden still talks about it! It was so nice and relaxing too.

August 25th I had my "surgery"!! Well kind of, it was more of an outpatient procedure at first. It was to take out my IUD, but it turned out that part of my IUD had attached to the wall of my uterus!! Or my tissue grew onto part of it! So joyous for me it's been 20 days of bleeding!! Including 5 of Aunt Flo, the rest form doc messing with my IUD/surgery! It's no fun and is showing no sign of stopping!! I go back on the 19th so I'm hoping it will have stopped!!! I tell you what I'm pretty annoyed and still in pain! It's not as bad unless my body goes through a surge and then I feel like my ovaries are exploding! UGGHHH!

Now!! I started school on the 2nd!! We went to an orientation, Class on Wednesday, and clinical orientation today. This is going to be one heck of a ride!! Sucky thing is the bookstore really did a number on me and our pocket book!! They had the wrong edition of our books in and so when I went to get the ISBN# of the books to look up on half.com I bought the wrong books! So now I had to pay full price, on top of what I already paid for the not useable books, and had to get the right ones. Plus the one book that was correct isn't in yet and I need it for tomorrow! LUCKY ME! They are something interesting right now our uniforms are backordered too! But they got their money so they ain't worried I guess! But I do get to do an entire day at some point to watch/help with surgeries!! That's going to be the coolest!! But our schedule is packed, got insanity due every week! But I'm praying like crazy, got the good Lord on my side. Hoping that since this is what I want to do that I just GET IT and it won't be sooo bad, Ya know??

And... the boys started back at daycare. It's Dawn's house and they love it there. Kalan don't even want anything to do with us when we come to get him! He doesn't even want to leave! And he no longer cries when I leave. I know I know, such a good sign and good big boy, but at least I knew he wanted me!! LOL! I miss spending the time with them already! It's sad because I'm never going to have as much time to just hang out with them, like I did this summer!! But we'll get through these 2 years and life will be grand!

HAHA! NOT! So I went into labor about 8 hours before my normal doc came back from Vacation/could get a sitter for her kids. TRUST ME I TRIED TO GET HER!! So with her, Dr. Ravasio, I had already decided and signed to have my tubes tied (seared LOL) during the C-Section. But alas, the other doc was so worried about me being so young and Lord forbid something were to happen to the kiddo's or my husband, what if I wanted to have another one down the road. A replacement baby I guess? I was so upset and scared to decide now. I knew I was done, but what would I feel in that situation? Would I want another baby? Then he told me about the GLORIOUS Mirena IUD. It essentially sounds amazing and for any normal person without the worst female part luck, prolly would be great! No fuss Birth Control for 5 years! And can get immediately preggerz after you get it taken out??!! SO.....

Speed to current day. My IUD has been originally thought to have been expelled by my uterus, from a $200 Ultrasound (U/S), is now found by a $20 U/S that shows it is malpositioned. I need an outpatient procedure with a scope/ultrasound during to get it out. BUT I went to Dr. Elizabeth Pernal of Eastern Shore OBGYN and she laughed when I said I was told by previous doc I needed OR time for this/anesthesia! She told me she could just do it right there in the office and said scoot on down! So as she goes in after it, I am immediately hit with excruciating pain. Guys, I have a rather high threshold for pain. I normally don't cry from pain. But after 10 minutes of her LITERALLY FISHING IN MY UTERUS, I was flooded with tears. I had been screaming and almost jumping off the table!! She was like sorry I'm hurting you but I just can't find it. She wasn't using anything but the previous report from my U/S. But I haven't even gone through nursing school yet and I know that it's free floating in my uterus and moves! Anyways, so I was in agonizing pain crying crying crying in pain, and she says, well guess now we do have to go to the OR!!!! WHAT??!!! OMG! She couldn't find it after all that. At least this time she will be using a U/S during and I WILL BE OUT!! LOrdy, what was she thinking?? I DUNNO!! But now I'm in worse pain than I was with the stupid malpositioned IUD! Ain't I lucky??

PRESENTING HEMMY FISH KEENER! We went into Wal-Mart for ABSOLUTELY nothing today. I had to return a movie to the Redbox! And we took a stroll...got some throw pillows, couple of shirts, a new "E" for Kaiden's name on his wall in his room, and then we went to say hi to the fishies! THEN, Kalan went nutso, WOOOOOOW!! OHHHHH! WOW!! And since he just had his MR. Pee Pee sliced and diced....I just couldn't deny my love! So we got a fish bowl and embarked on picking one out. The fish guy said Beta's are the lowest maintenece guys and are loners too! We can't be having lots of fish, and apparently this guy fights with others. He was fighting his reflection a bit in the plastic bowl! LOL! So there you have it! Our kid's first pet! I was driving home thinking, gee golly, I just made a new chore for me! Get to clean ol' Hemmy's tank every week! YIPPEE! At least the kiddo's are happy, until they forget about him in a week!

Kalan's Surgery and Update

Kalan had his Circumcision Revision done finally on the 8th! It was successful and he did great! They had me go back to the OR with him and hold him until they held him down and put the mask on him to put him to sleep. It was very unsettling seeing my little man held down and fight, fight, fight, then OUT!! I don't reccommend that to anyone! The 1st night was bad because everytime he went pee he would fly! He was climbing the walls trying to get away from the pain. Screaming bloody murder! It was very sad. We had to call the doc and get the dosage upped. He only needed it for the 1st day because he had a caudal done. This is where they do a spinal that numbs only what would touch a saddle. It lasted from 11am to about 5:30 and we gave him a dose of his meds. He fell asleep for a few hours and we got home, went to Dennis' ma's for dinner, and almost as soon as we got home the pain hit him. But after the 1st day and half he only needed the normal dosage. Now he's climbing all over me and going nuts. You would never think he's got stitches in his Mr. PeePee!! Except when he falls! He's so stinking cute he's trying to type right now! It will take about 4-6weeks to completely heal and 3 weeks until he can straddle us, like carry him on the hip, or any toys.

Now me on the other hand, I'm falling apart. Most of you know I had the joyous option to have my tubes tied with My C-Section. I chose to and then I went into labor 8 hours earlier than my scheduled C-section and got a diff doc and he talked me into getting an IUD instead. Well it lasted for a good year or so and then I couldn't find my strings. Had an Ultrasound (U/S) done and they said my uterus expelled it. So got on Birth control and had another U/S done last week to check to see if my cyst on my ovary was gone. THEY FOUND MY IUD! And it was malpositioned. Hilarious that I paid 200 bones and they didn't see it, but this one was only 20 and they saw it right away! So now I have to have surgery of some sort to get it out because the strings to get it out are in my uterus. I haven't heard anything about what exactly they will do yet. They said it's an outpatient procedure and I have to be put under. They are working on getting me some kind of health insurance, the case manager at the doc I see. I go back on the 25th and will find out the exacts then, but I'm pretty sure there is no cutting just using a scope and then pulling it out with an IUD hook. But we'll see. I will let ya know! Pray for me though cuz it hurts!! And hurts right now too!

SOOOOOOOO Kaiden decided to run like a hoodlum, right after I said to stop running, in Dash In, the convenient store on the corner here in Willards. He took off running as I opened the glass door to the cooler and he attempted a limbo-type business as he went under my arm and gallantly jumped up in excitement on the "other side" but he didn't make it to the other side and jumped up under the handle SMASHED into the corner and fell to the ground. He kind of whined a bit and I said, see Bud, we can't run and I said are you ok? Lets get up and when he took his hand away...BLOOD GUSHED out of his skull. As I managed to wipe it I saw the meatyness of his noggin and we headed to the hospital. Amazingly it only took about 45 min for the admitting and leaving!! He got 1 staple and I put this in the brag book cuz like mommy like son, we are clumsy with lots of bruises, stitches, and casts to prove!!! LOL! AND he didn't even move when she put the staple in. She warned of a coming pinch and he took a deep breath, bugged out his eyes and then was done!!

"I wanted to let everyone know about a scam that is going on in Salisbury. I had 2 teenage girls stop by our home on Monday evening about 4:30pm. They handed me a laminated flyer of books and magazines they said they were selling to earn points for a trip at their college. The girls said they were my neighbors down the street. They also said that they were sponsored by Barnes and Noble and suggesting that you buy the books, then donate them to Johns Hopkins. They will say ANYTHING to get money out of you. In my case, they told me it was for Autism research….they probably read my bumper sticker. They will ask if you have pets, a dog for example. Do not leave your animal out in the yard because they will steal your dog and sell it for money. They showed me a receipt and said that “this is what your neighbors are spending” ($110). They will say anything to “relate” to make you feel guilty to give them money. When I told them I could not afford anything, they asked me if I could do half, I said no, then they tried to get me to make a contribution and they would come back and wash my car. I did not give them anything, but my aide just called me and told me that this is a scam. Another lady she works for got hit as well as her neighbor and she’s reported it to the police, I did also. Apparently, there is a man that there is a warrant out for his arrest…he collects kids on drugs or who are homeless, promises them a hotel or food, make a little money etc. and then drops a group of them off in developments to go door to door. This man is dangerous and I’m told that these kids are known to seek revenge also if you do not donate. So make sure your home and cars are locked up and that your animals are kept inside when you are not out with them, and of course children too. To think that I felt guilty not giving them money, then to find out it was a scam. I reported it to the police as soon as I found out. They are hitting Salisbury hard. Report anything suspicious. Alert your neighbors."

OK, so we live in these God forsaken apartments here in Lovely Willards. We lived the entire first year without a door on Kaiden's closet, because LITERALLY everytime we would ask when it was coming, the fix-it-man was getting it at Lowes at that very moment!!! I wonder if she ever knew what happened to all those doors he was getting? Our ceiling is about to fall through because we have a leak somewhere causing dry rot in our room, that's fun trying to be quiet at night as to not wake the baby, and the massive sinking ceiling in the living room is quite scary!! But they probably won't come until a week after we fall through??

But we had to deal with an enjoyable "pink slip" situation once before with this place. We received a notice on our door that we were in violation of our rental contract and court costs of eviction would be added...Basically get your bum's in the office and pay your money. But you see, the money had already been withdrawn from our account, as the check had already been sent to them via mail and our bank withdraws the money that day, I guess in a way of helping you visualize the REAL amount of MOOLAW in your account. We have an automatic payment sent every month on the last day of the month, so we do not have to worry about forgetting! So we go there and she hadn't received it! Lucky us, our check got lost in the mail!!! So we had to do a dance with her and the bank and get a money order and give her the money and were given leeway because our payments have never been late in the year we had lived here. SO today we get another notice!!! I'm flippin a gasket again. Just having the word court cost and eviction in a letter to you just ain't cool. I go talk to the lady who is not the normal one. Our lady's bro died and they haven't even checked the mail for here. So this is just a notice that they haven't received our rent. They are not checking the mail until Bonnie comes back. How gay??? Then why are you posting these STUPID notes on peoples doors and giving them heart attacks?? It just ain't right!!! I know our bank mailed the check and that it arrived before or after the 30th, so HMPHHHHHT to you APARTMENT HOOKERS!!!

We went to Crystal's boyfriend, Derek's, parents house the day of the 4th. We swam in the pool and had lots of fun until about 6pm and then we came home and got some of the fireworks to set off at the house. The really good ones are illegal here, so basically you can only light sparklers and pretty fountain ones. But the kids loved em! And then the next day thee town set off a whole show at the local elementary school and Kalan was just chillin in my lap. Kaiden liked them at first, then put his hands over his ears, and then hid behind the chair about 3/4 of the way through! LOL! But then he wouldn't stop talking about them the rest of the night. He's hilarious! Hope everyone had a good day as well!

Kalan Scaring Us to Death

So we had a lovely experience last Thursday night!! Kalan had passed out for the 3rd time in 3 days and the doctor didn't want to wait for an appn to come up for neurological testing, so we went to the ER here. Poor baby endured a very traumatic event of a catheter bringing NOTHING, missing his vein for blood draw and almost coming out the other side of his skin, THEN they got a vein in his hand and had to keep a line in for an IV, just in case, and had to strap his arm to a board and tape it up to keep the line in. Then since the catheter brought no urine they put a bag on him that he would just go in and the incompetent nurse that barely spoke English, said we need a lot more when the LPN said they only needed a few drops. 3 hours later, with 2 hours of the call button pushed because he had PLENTY of pee, the LPN came in to get it and GUESS WHAT??? The seal had broken and the pee went into his diaper, but she just needed a few drops so she used what was on the sides. STUPID PEOPLE???!! If that nurse would have taken what was there the 1st time, or perhaps answered the call button before 2 HOURS, they wouldn't have had to "save" what was left. ANYWAYS... then they did a chest X-ray, EKG, and Head CT. All came back negative and they decided to transfer him to University of Maryland in Baltimore. We went via ambulance and made great timing, as he was going mighty fast! I sat in the front seat and Dennis drove my car. I couldn't see Kalan but he was calm once we started moving on the gurney and then they got in the ambulance and turned on Dora and he was in Heaven!! He stayed awake for the 1st hour of the drive and it only took about 2 to get there, LIKE I SAID, GREAT TIMING! :) So then we get there and they hook him up to monitors and the nurses were SO nice and COMPETENT! LOL! So we finally got Kalan to sleep around 4 am and then he woke up at 8! We then waited until 10 got all of the tests done in one sweep while he was HEAVILY sedated. He had stop being cooperative after the catheter incident!! So They did an EEG, Brain waves, EKG, heart waves, and Echocardiogram, Ultrasound of his heart. Around 12pm they told us the EEG and neuro reflex testing and other tests the neuro doc did, were all negative and they felt it was breathe holding. They recommended he be released as soon as the cardio doc gave the green light. We waited and WAITED and waited, until 6pm!!! The cardio doc came in for LITERALLY 5 minutes and told us that he had a sick baby born with heart disease.....AWWWWWWWW!!!! But that Kalan was absolutley perfect and it was just breathe holding. That he didn't feel he knew what he was doing right now, but that in the future he could discover his WONDEROUS ability to pass out and use it to manipulate us! ISN'T THAT GREAT?? MeeMaw Bought Kaiden a Pirate Ship pool! It is really awesome! Kaiden was having a blast and LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!! He was freaking out! Kalan was freaking out also, but not because he liked it! LOL! I guess he wasn't big on the plastic noise?? Not sure, but he didn't want to be part of the water either. It was warm out, but the water not so much. It was ok and heck Kaiden could have cared less! LOL!

Ok, so what on Earth have our school systems come too? What the heck kind of teachers are out there?? I mean SERIOUSLY! This poor kid is currently being diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. He had been to the principles office for disciplinary behavior and when he returned the teacher put him in front of the class to discipline him with HUMILIATION!!!! FOR A 5 YEAR OLD? They tell him everything they don't like about him and then VOTE him out of the class??!! ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! Kalan Didn't like the sand on his feet like everyone else did!
My friend Molly, originally from Canada, is my friend from Ft. Sill. Her husband, John, was in Dennis' old unit and was unlucky enough to deploy with them to Africa a week or so ago. Since it is going to be such a long deployment and he's going to be finished with the Army when they get back, she's going back home to Canada. She drove all over the coast to hit friends and family on her way home and we were one of the lucky ones who got to see her!! She got here Saturday evening and is leaving this morning, but it was sooo great to see her! We had loads of fun. Kaiden and Molly got to "build castles" and got some shells, and even got water on their feet!! Kaiden also discovered why not to throw sand in the air when it's windy, because it comes right back into your face!! LOL! But Molly was saying how theraputic it was to go to the beach and dig your feet in the sand, and she was sooo right!! I love it! Molly ROCKS!

So, I saw my friend Jessi had taken a trip to the zoo and that sparked an idea for us to go today!! Ours is free and small, but Kaiden loved it. Here's some pics! It's funny because most of the animals were ducks??!! And there is a duck museum right down the way!! LOL! The pics are really icky because I had to use my phone. Stinkin camera really wasn't cooperating today, so I'm sad!! But the kids had a blast. We had a little picnic of lunch before and then we went about our adventure. Kaiden was just running to and from all of the exhibits, and by the end everyone was exhausted!!

Kalan has been walking since April 11th, but only a few steps here and there. But this week he has really been walking it up!! Dunno if you ever watched the movie barnyard, if you haven't it's HILARIOUS and you SO need to!!! But there is a part where the little chick goes to the cow and says smooshy face you crazy cow, YES I KNOW I HAVE THE MOVIE MEMORIZED IT'S HORRIBLE!!, and then the chick smooshes the cows face and the cow says, "I am Smooshy"!! We LAUGH at that part everytime and Kaiden now comes up to us and does it ALL day long!!! It's really hilarious and even me and Dennis have it as an inside joke. MAN WE ARE SUCH PARENTS!! So, he was crawling to the top of the tub and scooting his booty to make him slide down the slant, our tub slants far more than it should. So he had his own slip and slide!! Today, we had the sliding door open so the breeze could come through the screen door. Kalan discovered how to open that today. As I was going for him, Kaiden came to the rescue, as he was right next to him, and he picked him up and sat him down. The rest is the worst moments of my life:
So, Kaiden sat Kalan down and he had picked him up as a reverse bear hug type of hold. He is always picking him up...not anymore.... So as he sat him down, Kalan started to cry, he then crawled to me, crying more and more. I picked him up and he started crying even harder, then he started to gasp for air and then his eyes rolled back in his head, he went completely limp and began to turn blue!! I thought he was choking! I did the 5 back blows to the back, between the shoulder blades and then turn him over to check/begin compressions. PRAISE THE LORD, he came to. He started to just pick up where he left off with his crying then stopped, and just looked around so confused. I was so scared, crying freaking out!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?? All I could think was him just going limp and blue! I waited a few, as the ambulance was almost here, and then tried to get him to stand, he attempted but his knees kept buckling. Then the EMT's said that he just had the air knocked out of him??? But that's instantaneous. We sent them on their way and took him to the ER ourselves, because by this time, 20 min after, he was playing and acting absolutely normal! They said that although they can't rule out Seizure, they think he had a vagal response. Basically he fainted. But he was screaming like he was in pain and then had a post episode of confusion and weakness. Our friend Tammy is a doctor, she said she thinks it was a seizure also. They are sadly a bit common in children and but usually have no more incidences. I'm hoping that it was just a one time deal. All I know is my nerves are shot and I'm dying!! We go to our doc tomorrow at 1pm to see a plan of what to do!! PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM AND US! GOD WAS WITH US THE WHOLE TIME! But I just can't reitterate to everyone how insanely scary it is to have your baby have their eyes roll back in their head, stop breathing, and turn blue. I would HIGHLY reccomend to everyone to get CPR certified asap or at least look up/teach yourself the techniques.

New Hair

So I got really tired of my hair and needed a change. This is what I wanted it to look like
But it didn't turn out like it. But then again she has a freakishly long neck and in all actuality her hair is LONG!! Plus, she has stylists and what not, so I don't think I could get my hair to look like that anyways. But I really want the whole bangs thing. But I can't ever get mine to look like this!! But I finally got it done and even though it looks nothing like I told her, I think it's ok. However, my hair is crap anyways and does it's own thing. It looked so cute this morning, all flipped out, but alas, it was rainy and icky and my hair stays fixed for about 10 min MAYBE!! I have it behind my ears, which looks far better than what it did without it. Guess I should probably take a pic when it's fixed and if it looks any different, I'll put it up too. Plus, it's a HORRIBLE pic of me!! But it's really hard doing the whole timer, sit back pose etc.!! Here it is:

WARNING!!! Possible Offensive Material to Father, wife, and My Mother. Don't read if your going to get all huffy!

So, for those of you who have been hiding, my parents ended their 25 year marriage and 6 months later my father got remarried. I guess I am like any child of divorced parents, even though I'm 23, with the grandeur ellusion that they would get back together again! That they would eventually realize they were supposed to annoy eachother forever. Alas, my mother is getting married and my dad has been for a year or so.

It's actually quite disheartening, I hate to say. I still sit back and remember how it seems just yesterday that Dennis and I were sitting on the back porch talking up a storm with my Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt and Uncle, Sister and Family, and my mom and Dad. Then we'd all eventually go inside and watch a movie, play some Uno Attack, or just keep on talking. Heck, I still remember hauling square bails with the whole gang!! That was AGES ago. MEMORIES!!! I just really miss it all. Especially makes me miss my grandpa too. Now, if I do sit and think more, I remember all of the bad things too. But lucky for me, the good things stick out far more than the bad. Oh Well, things change for the better or for the worse. What's even funnier is I really miss our cat's!! CHESTER! AWW FAT FAT CHESTER! Jumping up and smacking everyone in the face that he didn't like. Just being fat! And, as Joshie would call him, maxie pads!! HAHAHA! Lots of good memories out on the farm! OK, I'm done reminiscing!!

So the easter bunny came and left the boys their baskets and Kaiden got candy and Airplanes and Kalan got a soft fuzzy ducky and lots of easter eggs (empty and plastic) to play with. Kaiden is so funny, because he didn't come wake us up and didn't notice the HUGE basket sitting behind the pillows on the couch. He came upstairs when Kalan woke up and I asked if the Easter bunny had brought him anything. He said no?? All puzzled we went downstairs and I said, Kaiden, what's that behind the pillows? Then he said, and I quote, "The Easter bunny hid my basket behind the pillows, He's silly! HAHA! Leave it to Kaiden to give us a good laugh!! Then we got dressed and headed outside before we went to Easter dinner and found all the eggs that the Easter bunny had left behind!! SO MUCH CANDY!!

My Kaiden!!!

I cannot even believe that I've got a 3 year old!! I remember that day so VIVIDLY in my mind! SCREAMING bloody murder from contractions on the couch with Dennis "timing" contractions. HAHA, I was literally SCREAMING in his ear and he was konked out! Then lying in bed on my side, having my epidural work on one side, contraction on the other. And then after 2 full days of labor, 1 full of pain, they tell me that Kaiden just ain't coming out on his own and they gotta go in there and get him. And at 11:59 PM on 3/5 /05 My Kaiden came into the world cried and pee'd all over everyone!!! HAHAH! That's my boy!
I am seriously amazed that he's 3. He's so stinking smart and next school year he'll be starting PRESCHOOL HOLY COW!! He kept saying I'll be 3 in March and we kept saying, Kaiden you are 3 today. And he's saying, I'm 3 in March!! LOL! Then everytime we would go by Chucke Cheese we'd have to tell him it was closed so he wouldn't have a cow and Dennis took him for lunch there for his birthday. He kept saying, MOMMY, CHUCKE CHEESE IS OPEN!! I said yup, just for your birthday buddy! He can't WAIT until Saturday. He keeps asking, when's my birthday coming mommy? LOL! He's getting anxious!! Can't wait to see everyone on Saturday!

I NEED A BREAK!! Spring break seriously can not come fast enough. This is the hardest semester I've ever had in my career, yes career, of college. Microbiology, Pathophysiology, Chemistry II, and Hist 101. That history was supposed to be my gimme class. You know, the one that you study minimally and no problems? HAHAHAHAH! NOT THIS CLASS! I'm freaking out! I just took a test on Monday and hope to get it back Friday to assess the damage. I essentially did OK on the multiple choice, but at the end was an essay and it was evil. No one got anywhere near finishing, so I'm hoping that means something?? I haven't taken pictures in forever, checked my myspace in a decade, and my kids are constantly asking me, you gotta study mommy? I feel so bad! I'm working harder than I ever did in the ARMY! I go to school all day long, come home and get to see the kids for a couple of hours, bath, stories, bedtime, and then I study to all hours of the night. I stayed up all night Sunday Night, Tuesday night, and got to bed early Yesterday!! 2:30 and woke up at 5:30!!! LOL! OK!! So WHEW! I got a break today, tomorrow is more studying for Patho! As we speak I am neglecting my darlings because I haven't updated on here in FOREVER!
So, Kalan has gained 1 lb in 1 and 1/2 months! We add a scoop of formula to my Breast milk, feed him formula on top of the breast milk with extra scoops, table food Galore and still, no weight gain. This little booger! He's growing though. He's a new person every morning! He will be 1 on April 1st, in case anyone forgot!!
KAIDEN WILL BE 3 ON MARCH 5TH!! HOLY COW! I've been a momma for 3 YEARS!!!! No, no way!!! It's unbelievable! I've attempted to send out invites to everyone, but alas, have ran out of stamps, not made it to the post office, and don't even have everyone's phone number because I'm a loser! Well, Kalan is a little booger! We had to see a nutritionist the other day, because he hasn't gained any weight or grown in 2 months! His little tummy only holds about 2 oz or a little more at a time. He literally pukes if we try to get anymore down him at a time. And he has stopped drinking from a cup or nursing during the day. SO, he only eats his milk with cereal. Now we have to add a scoop of formula to my breastmilk, add margarine to his food, and just feed him everytime he turns around. He's going to be little, but we have to pack as many calories as we can into each meal he gets. He wasn't even in the 5th percentile! But he's standing by himself now, until someone see's him! LOL!
Then there's Kaiden. He's in the 90th percentile for his height and weight! He's gonna be a big boy! He did a little bit of regressing with poddy training for some unknown reason. He pee'd on the floor the other day, just cuz! UGHH! But it seems he's back to normal now. He's so stinking smart. He just goes off telling me all this stuff! Everyday he learns something new, and you only have to tell him once, then he can tell you again and never forgets it. Which, isn't always good, because we can't tell him stuff anymore to get him behave, without delivering! He reminds us for sure!
School is rough! I didn't think that it was going to be this busy! I have to read in all of my classes and they are all intense. Mainly my pathophysiology class, where you learn the course of disease starting at the cells, in the body. We have our first test Friday, so that should be interesting! I TURNED IN MY NURSING APPLICATION THE OTHER DAY! I'll know for sure either way by April 1st. PLEASE PLEASE keep me and my family in your prayers, because we NEED for me to get into nursing school. It sucks because there isn't anywhere else for me to go except a community college that only offers an associates degree. That would be a huge step backwards!
Welp, that's about all we got going on right now, I'll try to keep updating more!

I forgot to share that DH, dear hubby, finally decided to get contacts. It was so funny that he decided this, because I mentioned it before and he was all, "I can't touch my eyeball!" So when he told me he wanted to get contacts, I asked why? He said, because, "I want to lay down and watch T.V. without my glasses getting in the way!" HAHAH! I laughed so hard! Of all the reasons, he choses this one! MY HUBBY IS FUNNY!

Stick a Fork In Me

I'M DONE!!! At least until Monday! I survived through the worst class in history! Just some advice, never take A&P II in 2 weeks, unless you have a professor willing to cut out the unecessary and focus on, clueing you in also, what is required. We had the teacher who wanted us to learn EVERYTHING! I'm not kidding, 5 chapters, no focus on what will be on the test, actually that was the one question we could not ask him. KNOW EVERYTHING! Then you get to the test, and the questions are about the finite details of certain things, out of 5 chapters in 4 days. These chapters consist of 50 pages each, the book is MASSIVE, and when he asks questions he refers to them as "TRICKY not trick questions" because the answers consisted of 2 wrong and 2 right, but you had to chose the most right answer! UMMMM??? And when you only have no time to study, you can't get that in depth, impossible. The 1st test was 200 questions and the 5 chapters. NUTS! Then we had lab on top of that. It was just craziness! But amazingly someone actually made a 100 in the class!! He was going to adjust the grading scale at the end to accomidate the bell curve, but 3 of the smartest people managed to screw that up. So everyone else got screwed! NO REALLY, there were 4 B's 3 A's, 12 C's and 2 D's. NUTS NUTS NUTS! So depressing. I got a B. Now getting into nursing school is going to be one of the hardest things ever! STUPID SU! They start your GPA over, so when I make 2 B's, I do not have the cushion of the 60 previous credits. NOT COOL! And apparently our class is the last that had Pre-admit's from Highschool's around. If you came straight to SU and declared nursing, then you were pre-admitted. So now there are only 60 or less slots. Ya, not cool! Monday I embark on the next set of insanity. And I have the same teacher for my Pathophysiology class that I had this Winter class for. He's a nice person, really nice, but is the worst teacher I've ever encountered in all 6 of my previous Colleges! THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING!
The kiddo's are doing AWESOME! Kalan finally figured out that normal crawling is much easier than his scooting and does that now. He's been pulling up and cruisin a little bit. He gives kisses when your lucky! He has to be in the mood. Kaiden never gave kisses, so I am eating it up. And he doesn't just give kisses to anyone, usually just me and here lately Kaiden.
DENNIS GOT A CALL BACK FOR FRUITLAND PD! WOO! He goes to take the written test on Feb.2nd. We're pretty excited! And we found out that he can draw his GI Bill for the 6 or so months that he will be in the academy, plus not have to pay for the classes and stuff. GOOD STUFF! Besides that, not anything else going on. Just cruisin on my way to NURSING SCHOOL!!

Kaiden was pretty good and Kalan was just constantly turning around and around in my lap. He didn't sleep too much and Kaiden slept even less. The way home was about the same. It was just the boys and I, Dennis had to work. We left the day after Christmas and got home on the 1st around 5:30. We had a pretty good visit. A bit emotional everytime I went to my grandma's house though. It took me a bit just to get up the nerve to go over there. I wanted to see my grandma, but just the thought of going there and my grandpa not being there tore me up. But I was so happy to see everyone and we alternated staying at My Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Donna's house and my Dad's place.

This pic cracks me up! I got one of both the kids. I would get one of these chairs, but TRUST ME, we got enough goin on, we don't need something else in the mix!

And my favorite Auntie with Kaiden learning to skate! He did pretty good for a 1st timer! We went skating for Jayden's 8th birthday, my niece. I can't believe my sister has been a mommy for 8 years!!

And NOW!! WHEW! I'm taking this class. I should probably be studying right now, but I cant't, I'm fixin to go hit the sack after I give the kids a bath. We started on Thursday, had our 1st test this Monday on 1 chapter, not too bad, except he gave us no clue as to what was going to be on the test! Then we had 4 chapters of lab test on Wednesday and a 5 chapter lecture test today. Thursday was little better, but today!! 200 QUESTIONS! It was the hardest test I've ever taken and I'm almost positive, that unless God answers my prayers I FAILED MISERABLY! No joking! I don't actually know my score yet, but I'm sure it's no good! He told us the immune system was only going to be these few questions, and then it turned out being 60!!! Ya, nuts nuts nuts! The class ends on the 23rd, so it's only 2 1/2 weeks. I have been wanting to post these pics and about our trip, but seriously have had no time. I'm so miserable right now! I got 2 hours of sleep on Tuesday and maybe 2 yesterday night. I'm exhausted and sick! I was puking all day yesterday and have felt icky all day today, and no I'm not pregnant there are other things accompanying this wonderful sickness clearly stating otherwise. LOL! I just thought I'd throw that out there in case my wonderful family thought outloud. :) Welp, I"m off to bed. I'll report back when I'm done with this insanity! LOVE YA BUNCHES

Santa Was Here!

So Santa was here! Kaiden got a card from Nana that had a place setting for cookies, milk, and a snack for the reindeer. So we set that out for santa and his reindeer. Daddy read the night before Christmas and it took a bit of coaxing, but we eventually got Kaiden to sleep. To Kalan it was just another day! LOL!

Then this morning bright and early at 7am!! The kiddo's embarked on finding what Santy left! SO Many toys! With more to come! We're headed to Mee-Maw's right now for more! Kalan LOVED ripping the presents apart!! That's the best part for him. Kaiden loved all the toys, even Kalan's! :)

And here it is! The toy we heard the most about. "Santa's going to bring me a tar!", the words Kaiden said everyday until Christmas. Well here it is, Kaiden rockin out on his Tar!

Kalan's Army Crawl

So, Kalan has been crawling for a month or so now and still, has not stopped his Army crawling!! I took this video when he first started, but just figured out how to get it on here from photobucket, because my camera files are too big to load straight up. I think it's hilarious Kaiden calling Kalan more than me. He's good at that and does it all the time. But it's the best when he doesn't wear any pants, which he does all the time, and Kalan goes straigt to grab his Mr. Pee-pee!! HAHA! Kalan is Grabby McGrabbers!

Santa Clause

So today Kaiden and Kalan saw Santa Clause! Kaiden was ecstatic and Kalan could care less. Kalan was very tired and cranky by the time Santa decided to grace us with his presence though. We had gotten there right as he went on an hour break. So we had to be around for an hour and Kalan was already on his way to being cranky. Then we get there and they got a decent pic at first, but then I made the mistake of asking if they could try to get one of Kalan smiling also. Well, they weren't fast enough and missed him smiling and then he got upset. Well, he was like half smiling mostly being upset in the pic that they picked to print! They called this a smile??!! I was upset and said couldn't I get the 1st one? They said well this is the only one with the baby smiling and we already printed your pictures. And well, This mall is nuts with their picture prices. What happened to being able to get 1 pic with Santa for like 5 bucks? Ok, maybe 10 now, but they have crazy packages and you can't even buy 1 you have to get a package. The cheapest one is 16!! Oh well! Kaiden got all shy when Santa was talking to him! LOL! But he was happy and the pic is ok. It's so cute, Kaiden talks about Santa all the time. But the whole, if your not good Santa isn't coming thing, doesn't work yet. He keeps talking about a guitar. It's the ONLY thing he's told me he wants from Santa so I've gotta go get one of those. I thought he would have forgotten about it, but he reminds me EVERYDAY, all day, that Santa is going to bring him a tar! LOL! HO HO HO Merry Christmas Everyone!

GOING HOME!!

So, I wasn't planning on being able to go home this month as I had hoped to, but Santa brought me a present that REALLY helped and the rest I put on the CC instead of waiting to save up for it. Dennis has to work, so it was only 2 tickets. Yes, I'm sure everyone knows how the GAY airlines charge full price for a 2 year old, but I'd just like to point out that I'm not happy about it at all. Anywho, so we leave on the 26th bright and early and come back on the 1st around 5pm. I'm excited. My family is super excited. They are sad they don't get to see Dennis, but are ecstatic they get to see the kiddo's!! I'm going to be SUPER busy though, trying to get a visit into everyone. That should be interesting, but well worth it. I can't wait! I'm sorry Maryland, but I DESPERATELY needed a break from you!!! And in addition, if anyone cares, I still have 20 lbs left to lose from Kalan's booty that is SUPER glued to my body. I started running today again, ignoring the agonizing pain in my back and the numb foot, because I don't know what else to do! I have about 5-10 more lbs before I can fully fit back into my regular clothes without doing the infamous tug and pull on everything! LOL! Oh, and the not drying of anything, so they don't shrink back!! LOL! Anyways, I just thought I'd add that in so no one would be surprised when they saw my big booty walking through the door! LOL!

Beware of the Stairs!!!

I just had the scariest moment EVER, while holding Kalan!! I had just put Kaiden to bed and forgot Kalan's pacifier downstairs, so we go down to get it, but at the 1st step of the decent, my bare foot got no traction and slipped out from under me and I slid on my right side and butt cheek all the way down to the bottom of the stairs. There was no stopping it and I was holding Kalan the whole way, terrified he was going to get hurt!! He was crying, but he never came into contact with anything but me holding him tight, so I think the extremely bumpy and fast ride freaked him out, because as soon as he got his pacifier he was fine. So, after I changed underwear, HAHA not really , I began to chuckle a bit. Classic Tarin clumsy act huh? THANK GOD I didn't really get hurt or the baby. And ironically, almost everytime I go down the stairs with Kalan in arm, I imagine that happening, so that's another reason why I was so terrified going down. I was trying to get traction with my feet going down, but nothin was stopping that train!! MAN, my side HURTS!!!!

So here they are! The "better Pics by the tree. Kalan's came out surprisingly good, considering how bad my camera sucks, but not without taking a MILLION! Kaiden's and the ones of them both, however, had no such luck. Kaiden used to LOVE taking pictures, but now he's a little booger and don't sit still long enough to do anything! So all of the one's with Kaiden in them were not very good and the rare ones that were good, were so blurry you couldn't tell what the heck was going on!! Eventually the kids made such a fuss, so I had to give up. :( But hope you enjoy them! Oh, and if you ever want to save any of these to your comp, just right click, save picture as, and save them. Then you can go to walmart.com and have them printed or just put em on your computer, whatever you want!

So today was a great day!! I had an anatomy lab test bright and early at 8:30 and then I found out what I got on my Chemistry test later on. I was FLOORED when I found out I got a 99% on my Chemistry test!! Seriously, that's amazing! Then I found out just now that I got a 99% on my Lab test!! WOOHOO! Seriously, I give it all up to God!! Then I come home to an emaculatently clean house, laundry done and a made bed! With this on it!!!

AWW! How sweet is my Dennis!! Today has been a great day!!

Christmas Time

So we put up our tree today. As of right now all it has on it are the lights, because we are unsure where exactly the ornaments are stored. We had to go to storage today to get the Tree, but thought the ornaments were up in Kaidens closet. Getting the tree was funny, because now that we've downgraded in size of vehicle from the burban to the altima, we couldn't get the tree to fit in the car, so we had to drive home with the trunk open!! I found it funny. So I put the tree up and the lights and tried to get some good pics in front of it, but it was incredibly impromptu, but as if it matters anyways, my camera enjoys focusing on the objects in the scenery as opposed to the person! Oh well, I think we got some cute ones and when it's actually finished I'll get some better ones! Christmas time is coming. We got the kids presents and Mee-Maw has REALLY spoiled them boys! They'll be so happy! And I know Kalan is going to LOVE tearing open the presents. I have 2 tests tomorrow, so I'm off to study.

So, Kaiden discovered daddy's gameboy today! He has been non-stop playing sims. It's hilarious! He doesn't exactly do anything, the people keep passing out, but he runs around and shoots a weapon, or does whatever, I'm still not sure. He tells me, mommy he wants pizza, he wants a shower, he has to go poddy, cuz it pops up on the screen. He's so funny. That picture was him chillin on his Thomas Train couch gaming out! I had to snap it! And as I did Kalan smiled extra big trying to show us all his teeth. He's proud! And let me tell you, when eating on the right side, at initial contact, he uses them puppies too! OUCHY! Now, pure torture comes when he gets the top ones too! I do not look forward to that day! Stay toothless honey, for 4 more months! HEHE!

We took these a week ago or so and they are so darn cute. I totally forgot to put them up. And no, Kalan doesn't have an ear infection mom!! LOL! He always put his hand behind his head for some reason, and he was in mid reach. This is him in Kaiden's seat he eats in and Kalan is sitting up so good I tried it out. He loves it!! But of course big brother doesn't love Kalan in it, so we only get him in it when Kaiden is preoccupied.
AHH, and here Kaiden is showing you how much he disapproved of Kalan in his seat and decided he was going to sit on baby. When I laughed, then he played it off and thought it was funny and, thankfully, didn't put all of his weight on Kalan.

And here Kalan looks so big don't he? Like he's climbing into the seat? I wish! He was falling out gracefully! LOL! He started to fall and caught himself like this! He's so funny!

I love these little boogers! OH, Kalan has 2 teeth now!! The two bottom ones! And, although he's not in a full fledge crawling, yes he's taking his time, he now scoots himself forward with his tippy toes, so it's only a matter of time! WOO!

Turkey Day!

So today was Turkey Day! We went to Mee-Maw's house and the kiddo's had a blast. Well Kaiden did, Kalan just hung out from lap to lap! HEHE! Kaiden LOVES it at Mee-Maws cuz he gets away with tons and runs around like a nut. Mee-maw loves to spoil that little booger!

So we had lots of fun today! It was packed full of DELICIOUS food! MMMHMM! The turkey was juicy! I made homemade macaroni and cheese, Sweet Potato casserole, homemade biscuits, and cherry dump cake and everything came out really good. Charlottle made everything else and it was delcious as usual! She made this chicken the other day and it was RIDICULOUSLY tender!! ANYWHO, So then we had dessert after resting the tummy's for a bit, while the men-folk watched football. Especially enjoying the dallas cowboy cheerleaders! I missed my family tons though and especially my GRANDPA!! :( I really miss him! First holiday without him and first Thanksgiving without him. I can only imagine how emotional it was when he wasn't there to say the prayer as usual....I MISS OKLAHOMA!! Well I just wanted to share the pics! Hope everyone had a great Turkey day!!

Chucke Cheese

So today was family time! I originally was going to go to a brunch but dear hubby told me he really wanted to spend time with us, he's so SWEET! So, we decided to go take Kaiden to Chucke Cheese! His first time! It was ok, but very dissapointing. He couldn't really do much and his attention span is there and gone, so he'd basically put in a token stay for a second, and jet! LOL! But OH WELL! And just in case you don't know, the tickets are a scam! You can buy the toys cheaper than winning them. I guess everyone probably knows that, but I didn't think it would be this ridiculous. So we got up to the counter and only had 80 tickets and we looked at all the things we could get and saw 1 small basket full of plastic spiders and things that cost 2 cents a piece! So, we ended up buying them 2 small rubber footballs, which they both LOVED, and gave our tickets to a cute little girl!

Doesn't Kaiden look happy? HAHA! We made him eat pizza, horrible horrible thing, before he got to play! Bad mommy and daddy I know! :) So then they were off. Kalan and I hung out and actually tasted our food, as opposed as swallowing it whole, and I fed him some delicious baby food. Then we went and followed the 2 boys around as they darted from game to game! I think the game Kaiden liked the most was the one's where you throw the balls into the holes and rack up points. He likes to throw things! We only saw the mouse 1 time and didn't get to catch him in time for a picture, but that's ok, Kaiden saw him and really wasn't too interested.

Mee-Maw stopped by when we first got there, she timed it perfectly! She was there doing something at the mall I think! So we snapped a pic and then the kids were off! And this picture of Kaiden is too funny. He got up into this train slide thing and every picture I took he was banging on the glass saying HELP, because all the kids were doing it!

All and all it was a great outing for everyone, until poor Kalan was drenched by mommy. Yes it's true, I'm a bad mommy! Dennis was taking Kaiden to the bathroom and had me hold his pop while I was trying to pay for the 2 balls. We were waiting in line FOREVER and I bent over to get Kalan and the darn pop spilled all over the boy, well mainly on his leg/booty. AND THE PEOPLE NEXT TO US WERE LAUGHING! As my poor baby was crying! People are ridiculous! No workers even offered to help me clean it up or anything! I had to leave Kalan crying soaked and go to a table and get a thing full of napkins! I just left the ice, cup and napkins laying on the floor after I finished. I assumed they could at least clean up a mess, since they couldn't give me anything to clean it up myself. HOOKERS! An eventful day! But fun and both boys took a nap when we got home, tuckered out from the excitement. But I do have to say, we probably aren't going to go back there anytime soon. It just wasn't really worth the price and Kaiden wasn't into it. But it is so nice to be together as a family again!!

1st Tooth!!!

It's HERE! Kalan has his first tooth! Just noticed it today. It's just barely sticking up from his gums but it's there! I'm hoping that is why he's been sleeping so horribly the past week or so! I'm so absolutely EXHAUSTED! I had 3 tests today, so I got no sleep last night! I'm seriously about to pass out right now, but HAD to announce the tooth we just discovered. My little man is growing up. I'm happy about the tooth, BUT NOT! Because this just give's him a weapon to GET me with when he's eating! LOL! NO FUN. But he hasn't yet, so I'm hoping it doesn't. Well, I'm off to enjoy the silence, now that the kiddy's have gone off to dreamland!

Life with Daddy

Well it's been a week since daddy's been home and life is great! Poor daddy isn't used to the insanity of 2 kids, so he's dealing well enough though! :) Kaiden is a handful of energy even after running around like a nut all day long! Kalan is getting so darn big, well bigger. He's actually a tiny little guy, but he himself is getting bigger. He's eating a ton more, but still not sleeping very well through the night!! ARGHH! The past 2 nights have been relatively sleepless. And I know, everyone's saying that I'm spoiling him blah blah, let him cry it out, AND I DO! He cries and cries! It's not like I can just put him into another room or something! We already have all the rooms filled up! So I'm stuck listening to the crying! Dennis is such a heavy sleeper that he doesn't usually wake up until the end of the ordeal! LUCKY! I don't know what I'm going to do! ROAR! Anywho, I'm so busy with school. Next week is already THANKSGIVING! So, I have 3 tests this week, and 2 in the short week of Thanksgiving. We are out from Wednesday to Friday. I welcome the break! But I don't really have a break because I have a huge statisitcs assignment due the Friday of the week we come back! GOSH! So we have Thanksgiving!!! Sweet Potatoe Casserole! Although I can't make it as good as Auntie Donder, I shall try and enjoy as best as I can. And then it's CHRISTMAS! AHH! The end of the year is packed! Dennis went to Virginia for the OCPD tryouts, but they weren't even hiring full time anyways! They told him that they were hiring seasonal and would hire full time from those you were there for a few summers! WHAT? Seasonal doesn't have benefits so, that's pointless! So, next is Salisbury PD. We shall see how that goes. AHH! PRESSURE!
